2018 Farm Bill

The 2018 Farm Bill, officially titled the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, was enacted into law on December 20, 2018. The twelve titles of this legislation govern most of the functions of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

 

Below you will find the statutory text of the 2018 Farm Bill as enacted, the Joint Explanatory Statement by the Committee of the Conference, which provides context for and guidance to USDA around implementation of the statutory changes in the legislation, along with an overview of changes to key agricultural land protection programs.
